The tree roots are holding the stones together. Although it looks natural, the arrangement of the stones in the first and second pictures reminded me of the settlements of the Thracians. Most Thracian settlements were located along streams and rivers. You should examine it a little more closely (if you remove the top three stones in the first picture, you can see what's underneath).

Hi, thank you for the answer. It is in the mountain in a small dere. The pictures are from the same dere in some 20 - 30 meters from each-other only on the one slope of the dere.

This is the most interesting picture from the same place. I am wondering why these "entrances" are so big - the height is some 3 meters?!

If they are only on one side, it's not a dam built to prevent water from overflowing.
Perhaps it was built to divert the water in a specific direction (common in old mines).
Continue surface investigations and try to find something (pieces of ceramic, brick, tile, or any other sign). If you find nothing, you should assume it's a natural formation.
Good luck!

There are interesting rock types in the areas you're in (places where precious stones might be found), if you don't mind me telling you which region it is.

I thought the same, but the slope on this side is some 15 meters high. I have this figure at the beggining of the dere:

Whatever you saw, you first need to be sure it was made by hand, and then look for more obvious signs. Is this in the same place as your other object, which we call a tool?
